Apps and websites to help with your homework and project

Today we talked about ensuring you have learnt the maths facts, the current sheet plus the new one I gave you today.
There is a good flash card app called: Flashcards++
The version I tested was free.
My tip is that when you make a set of card put all the words on the front and the definitions/answers on the back otherwise you will be in a muddle when you use them to quiz yourself.

I have found a suitable one for Android called: Study Cards, which is also free.
I would welcome any other suggestions.

 Apps for your project:
 Star walk
 Solar system
NASA
Exoplanet - focusing on alien life forms
Here is a good review of several apps

Spotting Meteors and the ISS

Last chance to catch the ISS before June. Here are the details: http://www.meteorwatch.org/uk-iss-passes-april-2014.html It is a steady moving constant bright light in the sky. There is also a meteor shower happening at the moment, yesterday was the peak. Happy sky gazing.
