Half term Homework – All due in Tuesday that we return. You can hand in on the Monday if you wish.
1)      Maths sheet revising mixed numbers to improper fractions. Please complete this in your maths book. If you are stuck there are some videos in earlier posts on this blog about how to change mixed to improper.
2)      English sheet – Please write out the story in your English book replacing the idioms with actual meanings ensuring the story flows.
3)      Next term we are going to do a mini theme on Inventions – inspired by the many inventions that occurred during the Georgian and Victorian eras. Over the half term have a think about what inventions you think have been particularly special and any inventors you know or would like to know more about. Spend about 45 minutes on this. It might be doing some research, reading something in a book, talking to someone.
Things that are helpful to do:
Practise multiplication tables up to 12x12
When reading discuss your book with someone, thinking about the authors decisions (what ideas, words can we magpie (steal) from them?

Let’s hope the weather is nice for at least a few days so we can enjoy autumn. Have fun see you in a week.
