tips: Make sure you show off your target.
Think about the sound that you would hear, use ideas from the film Oliver and Street Child.
What would you smell. We have read and seen lots of evidence of stall selling food, such as shrimps and fish.
How would you be feeling and behaving.
Remember we have learnt that Berlie Doherty uses short sentences to encourage the reader to read quickly and feel tense and that she uses a lot of sounds and action rather to move us through the setting.
I look forward to reading you writing next week.
You also have a mixed maths sheet.
See you on Monday. It is harvest assembly, try to bring a tin or packet of food.
